Wheeled backpack will damage neck and shoulder
Nowadays more and more student start using the wheeled backpack for school instead of carrying a traditional backpack because they believe this could reduce the pressure to the shoulders. However, additional pulling force will be created during rolling of the wheeled backpack. If the excessive amount of force is created, the child might get hurt and this could cause muscle strain and eventually cause damage to their neck and shoulder. Student should aware to their posture while they are pulling their bags; they should keep changing their arms to pull the bag. In additional, student should aware that they shouldn’t use single side of shoulder to carry backpack because this can cause uneven shoulder and possibly cause damage to their neck. When choosing an appropriate backpack, a padded back is recommended to support the back.
